Great View!
- pity about the heat and glare
What about a roller blind that gives you the best of both worlds?
In'Flector is a see through fabric that is a heat insulator and cuts down that summer glare. The In'Flector sits inside your windows and controls summer heat and glare while in winter lets that beautiful view come inside.
What is the problem?
When sunlight comes in through a window it brings in light, heat and glare.
Glass will allow heat to move through it by conduction. When the outside temperature is higher than inside temperature heat will pass through the glass.
Once the heat gets inside, air movement inside the room will take the heat off the glass and move it around the room as convection currents.
Standard domestic single glazing allows 87% of heat to be transmitted through the glass while standard double glazing still allows 76% of heat to be transmitted.
Unfiltered sunlight falling on curtains, carpets and furniture will, over time, fade their colours.
Solving the problem!
The solution is a product that stops the heat and glare while still allowing an outside view and is easy to use.
In'Flector is a reversible three layer laminated fabric system with the outside metalised film reflecting the heat and glare. The inner laminate is carbon graphite PVC with casselated openings to diffuse and deflect the glare while still allowing a view. These two layers are then laminated to a clear polyester sheet for added strength.
The Inflector fabric is manufactured into a removable screen (like a fly screen) or roller blind and fitted inside your window. The silver side faces to the outside of the window and will reflect up to 72% of radiant heat and 65% of solar heat gain.
Having In'Flector inside your windows will stops up to 89% of those damaging UV rays that fade your curtains carpets and furniture.
Saving money on energy costs!
Environmental experts agree that by reducing the amount of energy used in your home you will not only save money but reduce your individual greenhouse footprint.
Heating and cooling our homes can, on average, use up to 14%* of total household energy. This is third on the list after heating water (24%) and electrical appliances (19%).
Using In'Flector to stabilise your home's temperature gives you the benefit of saving money and at the same time you are taking positive action help our planet.
